Arehole Prathishtana (AP)has been doing service activities since 2011 in the district of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada

This is a registered trust under Karntaka Registration act and is working in the field of Education, Arts, Literature and Culture. This trust was found by the well known writer and an organiser, Arehole Sadashiva Rao. He is taking active role as the president and his wife,  Geetha S Rao as the Vice president of the same. The former State  President of Kannada Sahithya Partishat, Dharmadarshi Harikrishna Punaroor is the Honorary President.

Trust have been inaugurated on the bank of river Souparnika at Arehole on 24th April 2011. Now  AP is one of the leading service organisation in the state. 

Trust is managed by 12 Trustees and now having its office at Mangalore

Helping the needy in society, helping the poor for education, promoting art and culture are the main objectives of Arehole Prathishtana and is continuously organizing dance, theatre and literature festivals  like Arehole Dibbana, Arehole Natakotsava, Arehole Sahithya Sourabha, Nruthya Varsha etc. All programs are organized in state level.

Prathishtana also encourages other artists through honoring the achievers of various fields. ‘Arehole Rangabhoomi Award, (for theatre achievers) , ‘Sumakrishna  award’ (for achievers in the field of Yakshagana), ‘Nandagokula Deepavali Award’ (for young  achievers) , ‘Nandagokula Nruthya visharada award’ (for the achievers in the field of Dance), ‘Harikrishna Punaroor award’ (for the achievers in the field of journalism literature, social activities) and ‘Saraswathi Adarsha Shikshaka award’ ( for the best teachers)  are some of the awards given by Arehole Pratishtana.
